I was having a strange problems where if I let the Tahoe sit for more than one day then when I next went to start it it would take many cranks to start. The longer it sat unused the harder it was to start. I would be running the starter for several minutes and then come back later and try again an hour later for several minutes. Once the battery nearly died. But eventually it always started. I almost brought it to a mechanic (yikes) but instead decided to run it everyday and keep investigating. This strategy eventually paid off because I now believe it was simply a matter of the gas being bad or maybe containing some water, how knows? Once I refiled the tank it no longer had this issue. So this was weird. I won’t be going back to that station again.
